BC省高科技行业是经济发展的重要驱动力，该行业对人才的聘用需求已经达到了历史高点，出现了供不应求的情况。BC省劳工部的首要任务是将BC省发展为新兴技术的基地，扶植省内高科技产业，简化聘用高科技人才的程序。
为实现这一任务，BC移民局启动了BC PNP Tech Pilot 科技试点项目，以吸引和保留高科技人才，并为这个行业提供可持续性发展的基础。2021年5月28日，BC省移民局宣布BC省高科技移民试点项目获得无限期延长，并将BC PNP Tech Pilot项目更名为BC PNP Tech 项目。
申请步骤：
1、确定自己的NOC职业代码是否属于35类紧缺职业;
2、在线注册，获得PNP评估分数(注册免费);
3、BCPNP每周抽取分数，并邀请候选人申请BCPNP;
4、在30天内完成正式申请，支付700加币的审理费;
5、如获得BC省提名，将同时获得BCPNP办公室的工签支持信，可前往加拿大工作。
